MEDICAL REPORT | Carlos Soler
Valencia CF player Carlos Soler suffered a heavy sprain his right ankle during the final part of Wednesday's training session.
After the initial assessment in Paterna, tests were undertaken and showed a ligament injury to his right ankle affecting the partial lateral compartment of the tibioperoneal syndesmosis, with heavy inflammation of the area.
The injury required immediate immobilisation, and Soler will follow a plan of functional rest, medical treatment and physiotherapy.
The estimated recovery period is undetermined and will depend on the results of further tests in the coming weeks.
